Angel or Moth? Motion sensor security camera spots something remarkable

A man in Michigan claims he's captured an angel flying above his truck.

We've seen plenty of movies about ghosts and angels lingering around and popping up when they're least expected. In some cases, it's to help a loved one with a project on a pottery wheel, or other times it's to make a winner out of a slumping Major League Baseball team. Now they're apparently showing up on security cameras.

Well, a man in Michigan had to do a double-take when his motion sensors picked up something that appears to be an angel hovering over his truck. The man, Glen Thorman, even when to his local TV station and said that he gasped "that's an angel" as soon as he saw the white, cloudy figure hovering in his driveway.

"I got an angel! My camera took a picture of an angel!"

He then shared the images with the pastor, Deneille Moes, of the church he regularly attends and asked her to take a gander. At first glance, she said that "there wasn't any doubt in my mind that we were looking at something supernatural."

Without hesitation, she posted the incredible photos to the church's Facebook and the social network had a blast liking, commenting, and speaking their minds on what they believe is in the photos.

Of course, you've got some people taking the practical approach to the photos.

"This has been altered because they took a still image from the video and a moth looks more like an angel if it isn’t moving. The moth is out of focus because its right in front of the camera and the camera is focused on the truck. It looks big due to perspective."

The Facebook user went on to say that "if this is proof of anything, its proof that people believe what they want to believe, regardless of truth."

Next, the photo was taken to a photography expert, which was consulted by the TV station that profiled the story. Joe Clark of Glass Lakes Photography gave the station's reporter a more "down to Earth" explanation of what may have appeared on the other side of the lens.

He also said it could be a moth.

Although, he may not be totally convinced that it's a moth. He followed up with saying that "there may be room for interpretation," meaning that there is a possibility it could be something else. What's your take on this strange sighting?
