States with the Most Bigfoot Sightings in 2020

Apparently, there are quite a few tall, hairy figures walking around the country.

We're more than halfway through the year and Bigfoot, Sasquatch, the big hairy people hangin' out in the woods, or whatever you want to call them, are making themselves known.

Some don't believe in Bigfoot, but with so many reported sightings, it's possible he’s not only real but hanging out with many others. Apparently, there are quite a few tall, hairy figures walking around the country.

The website Satellite Internet compared the database of reports from the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization against state populations and produced a ranked list. As per usual, at the top of the chart is "Sasquatch hotspot" Washington state with a hefty 8.9 sightings for every 100,000 residents.

The top five for Bigfoot sightings by population are Oregon, West Virginia, Idaho, and Montana. How many Bigfoot sightings have been reported in your state this year?

Check out the photo below:

At the bottom of the list, in descending order, are Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and in last place is Nevada.

Okay, so Bigfoot isn't a fan of bright lights, gambling, and large crowds, so that would explain they're avoidance of Nevada. Also, Rhode Island is much too small for such a massive bipedal giant with oversized feet.

If you're not living in the U.S., Google Maps made a pretty cool visual for sightings happening all over the world. I hope Bigfoot's got its passport.
