It's even got the Roadrunner painted on the wall, but the driver thought it was real

Back in 2015, someone painted this somewhat realistic but also cartoonish mural on a wall, and a driver in a Fiat smashed right into it.
I mean, this never worked for Wile E. Coyote so how the heck was it successful in real life?
It's even got the Roadrunner painted on the wall, too, but apparently the driver thought it was real. Although, a lot of people say it's a hoax and never happened.
The images were uploaded by Imgur user Rburn and quickly went viral, but according to Snopes.com it's fake.
However, I'd like to think it's legit and a car really crashed into a painted tunnel, Wile E. Coyote has now become a successful artist, and the Roadrunner magically ran through the painting unharmed.
