Fishermen in Japan reel in an incredible catch

The unique catch has gotten a lot of attention after the team shared it on Twitter.

So, there's a group of Japanese fishermen who catch some pretty unbelievable fish, but one, in particular, is reeling in quite a bit of attention online.

It looks like something that escaped Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory or a fish straight from a Cybergoth's aquarium.

This apparently isn't a "hook, line, and sinker" either. Check out the video the Fishing Gang Azusa uploaded to their YouTube channel, and see the glorious creature for yourself.

As seen in the video, the group releases the creature back into the water.

It turns out that the fish is far from being a fake, too. It's a very real species known as a surge wrasse (orThalassoma purpureum) which can be found in the waters of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.

If fishing is your type of sport, or you just love seeing unbelievably colorful fish, take a look at one of the fishermen's Instagram page.
