The following video was provided by Dafydd Edwards, and it shows the flock laying motionless on the side of the road.
It appears to be happening all over the world, too — Canada, Beebe, Arkansas, and Australia — it's not specific to the kind of bird either.
Many believe that the birds have been poisoned, hit by an airplane, or were flying under the influence of some berries.
Perhaps the reason is something more profound. As of now the case remains unsolved.
