A resident who had been checking their dashcam footage thought it was a deer in the road
Despite the name of the city — Falmouth, Maine — which sounds a lot like "fowl mouth," this story doesn't intend to be profane or obscene. Although, you can take it for what it is.
The Maine-based non-profit paranormal investigative group "Paranormal 207" recently released a video on Facebook, and it's been giving the area the creeps ever since.
It was recorded by a Falmouth resident who had been checking their dashcam footage to look for deer crossing the road. They didn't expect to see something this strange, though.
Did you get a good glimpse at that shadowy figure?
The video shows a dark creature darting across the street in front of the vehicle before disappearing into the darkness at the side of the road.
So, what do you think? Is this some sort of paranormal being or is there a more conventional explanation to this viral video?
Unfortunately, it's difficult to make out exactly what the animal actually is, especially given the low-light conditions and the blurriness of its movement. Sure, it can be a dark-colored dog or some other wild animal that happened to scurry across the street, but that's the beauty of wonder and the unknown.
