She was surprised to find that she wasn't even in the photo when it came in the mail.
Have you ever hated how you look in a photograph? More importantly, have you ever disliked the way your Driver's License photo turned out?
This is common. However, what if you weren't even in the photo?
For Jade Dodd, who lives in Tennessee, the photograph on her new driving license was practically useless — because she looked — but because she wasn't even visible in it. It's almost as if they took the photo after she had walked away.
"I was with my Mom and we were going to eat lunch and I said, 'You need to see this, this isn't right,'" Jade Dodd told CNN affiliate WKRN. "The lady at the DMV did not really believe me when I was like 'hey, I need my license fixed,'"
She had recently renewed her license in Hickman County and when it came in the mail, she was surprised to find that she wasn't even in the photo.
According to the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, the photograph had been included on her license by mistake because it was the last image uploaded to her personal file.
"My boss thinks it's funnier than anyone," said Dodd. "I was at work Friday and he pointed to a chair outside of his office door and was like, 'I thought this was you, I waved at it this morning.'"
