“Harry Potter at Home” launches a weekly celebrity reading series

Let Daniel Radcliffe read the first chapter of Harry Potter to you.

Attention all "Potterheads."

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter just got even more magical for die-hard fans. The website Harry Potter at Home just launched its new weekly celebrity reading series.

Each week, anyone can watch or listen to famous actors and celebrities read a chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. First up, the wand wielding, spell casting, wizard, Daniel Radcliffe himself, is tackling Chapter One: The Boy Who Lived.

That's pretty ridiculoso, right?

In the following weeks you'll be read to by others, including David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Eddie Redmayne, Stephen Fry, Claudia Kim, and Noma Dumezweni.

These recordings will also be made available as a free audiobook on Spotify. According to a statement, the "Harry Potter at Home" website was developed by “J.K. Rowling’s agents” in response to those having to stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 17-chapter reading series will run throughout the summer, but there's still no word on whether or not they will continue with the rest of the books.

Hop on a broom and fly over to WizardingWorld.com to check out the first chapter.
