Independent Bookstore Day 2020 falls on Saturday, August 29 this year.
It's an annual one-day celebration of indie bookshops around the country, and after monthslong coronavirus-related closures, indie shops need everyone's support more than ever. Local bookstores will be selling one-day-only, limited-edition merchandise, and readers can check out a day full of virtual events.
