Romanian Engineers Make a "Flying Saucer" and it Actually Works (VIDEO)

They plan to build a much larger version big enough for a person to cruise in.

Unidentified flying objects have been a hot topic these days. The public is finally starting to take their existence seriously now that reputable news sources like the New York Times are publishing government-released information.

Well, now there's a UFO zooming around in Romania and it's apparently made by humans.

A pair of engineers in Romania have successfully built a pretty impressive "flying saucer" that actually lifts off the ground, hovers, and zips away in the air.

The craft, which is called the "All-Directional Flying Object" (ADIFO), is reportedly the creation of Razvan Sabie and Iosif Taposu. According to the engineers, the functional prototype represents “a new and revolutionary flight paradigm.”

The "flying saucer" shows off some incredible maneuverability because of a dual propulsion system that consists of four vertically positioned fans and a pair of horizontally placed jet engines.

I may know what you're thinking right now. This has got to be something from out of this world and there's no way these two engineers figured out how to make it without the tech specs of an actual UFO that crash onto the planet.

It reminds me of the scene in the Project Blue Book television series when the two main characters stumble upon a hangar filled with alien spacecraft.

However, the craft built by these two engineers in Romania is said to not be based on any type of alien saucers.

The inventors say that they based the design on the "the disk is designed to mimic the back cross-section of a dolphin's airfoil."

The ADIFO is about four feet in diameter and Sabie and Taposu plan to build a much larger version of the craft, which would be big enough for a person to cruise in.

Over time, they imagine their "flying saucer" design being utilized in technology such as private aircraft or vehicles used in warfare.
