"Life has a practice of living you, if you don't live it." -Philip Larkin

How many times in a day do you find yourself ready for a change? Ready to shift your habits, to relocate your focus, or to choose a completely new direction for your life.
Within each of those moments lie an opportunity to go inward. To become aware of the why, to open up to the how, and to lean into the trust in yourself to guide you to the expression of your life that you truly want to manifest.
How you approach and follow through with each opportunity speaks volumes to the tone of the reality that you're cultivating. It is also represented by the attitudes of people surrounding you, the jobs that you align with, the health hurdles that you encounter, and much more.
Many people know of yoga as body movement done on a mat that can lead to increased flexibility (to put it very simply). The true purpose of yoga is to connect with the collective self - mind, body and spirit.
To show up and honor where you're at each time you step on the mat, and learn to celebrate it, regardless of what that may mean that day. You fall out of a pose or stumble during a transition, and the grace and humility (or lack thereof) with which you regain your composure and return to the flow - THAT is your yoga. The ultimate lesson of the practice.
That same practice is something that can be incorporated into the rest of your life, in all regards. A reflection of your constant power of choice that you have through each moment of your days.
How swiftly are you moving through and beyond your struggles vs staying hung up and held on to?
How forgiving are you while following through with friction, with yourself and others?
How openly are you giving your innate guidance a chance to be acknowledged and followed?
Take your inventory. And check it twice.
