A Guide to Manifesting Mindfully

"Manifestation is a graceful dance between pure heart-centered intention and action."

To manifest something means to consciously call it forward and into a present place in your reality. Therefore, the reality in which you live is largely a manifestation of your own doing.

It can be an intimidating concept, I know. But what if I told you that practicing mindfulness, setting intentions and being more choosy of the vibrations that fill your days would all lead to manifesting more of what you want and less of what you don't want?

The Law of Attraction helps to understand how that works.

And please trust when I say that Law always works. Here's how, in a tiny nutshell:

First off, there is true power in understanding that everything in life is vibration (thank you, Albert Einstein).

Secondly, similar frequencies are drawn together.

Have you ever heard Jim Rohn's quote, "you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with" or ever watched two droplets of water slowly move closer until they touch and become one? Those instances and much of life are due to the alignment of similar frequencies of vibration. Like attracts like.

"If you want to bring something into your life, begin vibrating at a congruent level."

Grab paper and pen and follow along in this exercise aimed to help you better understand your personal power to create a more intentional, fulfilling reality:

  1. Set an intention and focus on something that you want to draw/invite into your life. Go deeper and ask yourself why it's important to you. Write it down as you go. Don't judge it or feel a need to create an excuse for it. Just flow. Try to stick with one item/situation to laser in (and empower) your focus. And write it down.

  2. Set a timer for 3 minutes. Whatever you selected as your focus in part one, visualize during the next 3 minutes how it would feel to have that already be a part of your life. How would things be different and why? What emotions arise? After the timer goes off, spend another few minutes writing down what you saw and felt. Again, without judgement, self-criticism or too much thought. Flow.

  3. Reflect on your notes and narrow in on the emotions that you listed. Those emotions each emit a certain vibration, which means that you will more efficiently allow that focus to be manifested by more frequently emitting that emotion...because, again, like attracts like.

  4. What can you already be doing in your current life that will cultivate the feelings that you listed? If joy was an answer for you, what is one thing that you can do today that will align you with joy? If empowerment was what showed up for you, what is one thing you can dedicate yourself to for the next week that helps you feel empowered? What will raise your vibration, overall? Write it down! And commit yourself to it creating more of that in your days.

Please note, too, if you start to visualize or imagine something that doesn't feel uplifting (worry, fear, anxiety). Because the Law of Attraction works with higher vibrations just as much as lower, and to be mindful of the varying frequencies showing up will help you to discern between the ones that you actually want to manifest and those that you want to let go of.

"You're not manifesting, you're creating the environment that allows the manifestation."

-Abraham Hicks

Now go on....manifest it up, buttercup!
