"Serenity of spirit and turbulence of action should make up the sum of a man's life."
The most productive way to create the experiences that we desire is to recognize and clear our paths of all that doesn't support our greatest vision, with an intention to align more thoroughly with that which supports our increasing awareness and self-care.
This transition is not intended to appear simple. To get from where you are now to where you want to be will require grace, patience and allowing. It will require dedication and persistence along with adequate rest, recovery and space to incorporate all of the shifting that will take place.
So often it's the levels of discouragement that keep us wandering back to paths dotted with habits, mindsets and people that no longer serve our growth. That discouragement, confusion and doubt can easily fuel feelings of lack of worth and self-trust, creating a sense of inner turmoil and turbulence.
It's in those moments, too, that we can recognize the chance to celebrate the shake-up as occasions to hold steady, stand our ground and remind ourselves, ruthlessly, of our true worth and abilities., our mission and goals.
There is a choice to view the upheaval as the release and surrender that it truly is. The chance to step in and be our own best friend in reminding ourselves of our true power while the universe is sending others to help reiterate and restructure the purpose-filled life that we're crafting. View turbulence as an opportunity to sharpen and practice innate faith.
This restructuring is an opportunity to start letting our new world become a representation of new ways of being, as they're cultivated - full of allowance, expressions of joy, and abundance. Knowing those seeds will breed a more fulfilling life experience, wholly.
"Turbulence is life force. It is opportunity. Let's love turbulence and use it for change." -Ramsey Clark
Hold steady. Stay the course.
And know that all is deeply well in your world, turbulence and all.
